HongQi® Oil filled bimetal thermometer 0-100°C
A bimetal thermometer consists of a bimetallic strip that is coiled up in a spiral shape. The strip is made up of two metals that have different coefficients of thermal expansion. When the temperature changes, the metals expand or contract at different rates, causing the coiled strip to unwind or coil up tighter. The movement is transmitted through a linkage to the indicator needle, which shows the temperature on a calibrated dial. Bimetal thermometers are commonly used in industrial applications because they are durable, easy to read, and accurate within a limited range of temperatures.
